Wild Sauna
The invigorating power of heat therapy: boost your mood, aid muscle recovery, and reduce stress.
What is the Wild Sauna?
Our portable outdoor sauna helps give your body the care it needs to reduce stress and tension. Parked in a beautiful location, often near water, our bespoke wood-fired sauna is the perfect way to relax and refresh. Already popular in countries like Finland, Sweden and Japan, saunas can help enhance recovery, resilience, and overall well-being.

The Benefits of Saunas
Saunas have incredible physical, psychological, and social benefits. Find out just how a session can help by joining one of our regular events. Alternatively, we can come to a location of your choice (subject to required permissions being obtained) as part of an event such as a birthday, anniversary celebration, or team building session.
The benefits of sauna use can be far reaching, but can include:
Enhance circulation and heart health
Speed up muscle recovery and relieves pain
Reduce stress
Support detoxification and skin health
Improve sleep quality
Boost your mood and mental resilience
Combine With Cold Therapy
Our wild sauna events often take place next to water, including on the seashore and near lakes. This means, if you want, you can get the double-effect benefit of contrast therapy, where you experience the heat of the sauna followed by the coolness of the water when you go for a quick dip or a longer swim.
Please note: As this is not part of our event, if you enter the water before or after sauna use, you do so at your own risk. Please take all reasonable care when going swimming.
Wild Sauna Events and Private Hire
With our portable sauna we hold regular sessions in some of the most beautiful areas of the Lake District and Cumbria. To enhance everyone’s individual experience, places are limited, so book early to avoid disappointment. Or book a private experience for your group.
Sauna use is currently only available for ages 18+.
